The Voidspire

After turning on Xal'atath, the fallen king Salhadaar has become a captive of the very Shadowguard he once commanded. Tortured, delirious, and infused with the Void, he awaits his death—or a chance to win his people's freedom from Xal'atath's grasp.

How to handle each mechanic

Void Convergence / Concentrated Void

- All damage dealers; tanks kite the boss
- Do this
- Kill orbs immediately, one at a time, and never let them touch the boss. The tank kites to keep them in cleave range.
- Position
- Boss near the edge with a clear orb lane
- When
- Every two-orb spawn
- If failed
- An orb reaching the boss empowers him and causes a wipe
- Difficulty
- Heroic: do not overlap the two 8-second raid DoTs; Mythic: old orbs return
Shadow Fracture / Fractured Projection

- Players assigned to sectors and the control rotation
- Do this
- Stop every Projection with an interrupt or hard crowd control. A player using persistent CC immediately checks another sector.
- Position
- Across pre-assigned arena sectors
- When
- Immediately when adds appear
- If failed
- A completed cast leaves a dangerous pool
- Difficulty
- Mythic: only one target is interruptible at a time; control the others
Shattering Twilight

- Tank; on Heroic, additional marked players
- Do this
- Carry the star away from the raid and aim its lines into empty sectors. The tank detonates first, then other targets.
- Position
- At the edge with lines aimed away from the stack
- When
- Before the star pattern detonates
- If failed
- Spikes cut through the stack and deal heavy group damage
- Difficulty
- Heroic: additional players spread their line patterns separately
Despotic Command

- Marked players and healers
- Do this
- Targets move to the edge and spread first; a healer then dispels and quickly clears the heal absorb.
- Position
- At separate edges, away from the working area
- When
- Dispel only after the target is out
- If failed
- The pulsing circle hits allies and an early dispel drops a pool in the wrong place
- Difficulty
- Normal/Heroic/Mythic: keep the move-then-dispel order
Destabilizing Strikes

- Swap at roughly 8 stacks or when the debuff expires, and never kite the boss into an orb.
- Position
- Near the edge before the 100-energy window
- When
- On melee attacks throughout the main phase
- If failed
- Following hits become lethal and a bad path feeds an orb to the boss
- Difficulty
- Baseline tank mechanic on all difficulties
Entropic Unraveling

- Whole raid
- Do this
- Move together between rotating beams, use raid defensives, and commit planned damage cooldowns into the boss.
- Position
- As a tight group in a safe edge sector
- When
- For 20 seconds at 100 energy
- If failed
- Touching a beam deals heavy damage every second; wasting the window extends the fight
- Difficulty
- The boss takes 25% increased damage during the window
