The Voidspire

How to handle each mechanic
Instructions are paraphrased from an expert guide. A spell ID and spell icon appear only where identity is separately verified; a neutral marker means the ID remains withheld.
Dread Breath

- Who
- Targeted player, whole raid, and a healer
- Do this
- The target aims the wide cone away; everyone else clears the boss's side. Dispel fear immediately if anyone is hit.
- Position
- Target stays near the boss while aiming into an empty sector
- When
- When Vaelgor turns toward the selected player
- If failed
- The cone clips the raid and applies a 9-second fear
- Difficulty
- Fear immunities can be assigned in advance
Nullbeam and Nullzone

- Who
- Tank plus at least one helper; then the whole raid
- Do this
- Help the tank soak part of the beam to shrink the zone. When tethered, run 10 yards outward to snap it.
- Position
- Beam in front with the assigned group; snap tethers outward from the zone center
- When
- Four-second beam followed by an immediate exit from the zone
- If failed
- Too few beam hits create a large zone; a slow exit increases pull and damage
- Difficulty
- Heroic: the last player leaving triggers a heavy raid burst
Gloom

- Assigned soak team
- Do this
- Pre-position in the orb path, pass it through the required players, then let it travel to the edge.
- Position
- Fixed left/right outer markers
- When
- Before the orb reaches the edge
- If failed
- Insufficient soaking creates an oversized long-lasting pool
- Difficulty
- Heroic: rotate teams due to a one-minute debuff; Mythic: 7 players and additional positions
Void Howl

- All players and assigned controllers
- Do this
- Spread personal circles, then group the spawned orbs with grips and stop their AoE casts.
- Position
- Drop circles around the raid stack, then group adds in center
- When
- Spread first, then immediate control and focus when adds spawn
- If failed
- Adds continue casting raid damage and pull the formation apart
- Difficulty
- Mythic: orbs no longer drift toward the raid after the first stop
Twilight Bond and Rakfang

- Tanks
- Do this
- Keep dragons at least 15 yards apart and swap bosses after the intermission or the agreed Gloom; never stand behind them.
- Position
- Opposite edges with heads and tails pointed away from the raid
- When
- At all times; swap after the intermission
- If failed
- Proximity triggers the bond and the stacking tank effect overwhelms healing
- Difficulty
- The separation rule applies on all difficulties
Radiant Barrier and Shadowmark

- Who
- Whole raid; marked players move out
- Do this
- Enter the barrier and kill the Manifestation of Midnight. Shadowmarked players move to its edge while everyone else stays central.
- Position
- Center of the barrier; marks on the outer rim
- When
- At 100 energy
- If failed
- A player outside the shield dies to Midnight Flames; a mark in center hits the group
- Difficulty
- Shadowmark appears on Heroic and above
